I started golf at the age of 12 at Castlewood G&CC, it was something we did with our Dad on the weekends.
Played competitive soccer my entire childhood, and switched to golf my Sr. Year in High School, with my eye set on playing collegiate golf.
I put myself through college, and achieved a Bachelors of Science in Business Management on a Full Golf Scholarship to the University of Montana 1993-1995 where I was the #1 player and won my first 6 events in a row as an individual. I also won the Women's State Am in 1994 and was runner up in 1995. I was a Big Sky Athlete of the week and also Runner up in the Big Sky Conference in 1993.
After college in 1996, I went back to my home town of San Jose, CA and dabbled with the Player's West Mini Tour for 1.5 years while I was an LPGA Assistant Professional at Los Altos CC in Los Altos, CA.
I have worked in both the Private and Public sector in the Golf industry and one of my best memories was being a part of the Opening team of Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill, CA. There were many firsts to opening up a golf course, and it was an awesome experience as the 1st Assistant Professional.
I moved to Polson, Montana the year after 9-11 to enjoy simple living at Flathead Lake, where I taught golf at Polson Bay Golf Club for 8 years. This is where I learned my other new hobby fly fishing! I was busy teaching golf and selling real estate in the golf and lake community I lived in. With my family still in San Jose, I wanted to be closer to home and Reno became on the radar. I relocated to Reno in 2013 and became an Assistant Professional at Somersett Golf Club to get my foot in the door. I am now the Director of Instruction and teach full time at the club, while managing my Real Estate business with Dickson Realty.
My philosophy is student centered!

How can we help
Let's make this easy and simple
That is how I approach every client on and off the course!
I obtained my Class A LPGA Membership in 2000 and have been a Class A member for 22 years.
